Why choose our dental floss？

The selection of a dental flosser mainly depends on three aspects: water pressure, frequency, and waterproof structure.

Regarding water pressure

Users gradually increase their usage from low pressure to high pressure. Based on our sales experience (since 2008, we have been producing and selling dental flossers), customers who use dental flossers for the first time choose medium and small pressure ranges. After continuous use for one month, 80% of customers will switch to the maximum pressure range. Some customers even feel that the maximum gear is not strong enough. This requires manufacturers to provide customers with such high pressure conditions for use. If the maximum pressure of the product is not enough, it will affect the customer’s user experience.

At present, most products from other peers in the market are not under the maximum pressure. Their usual solution is to reduce the aperture of the water outlet of the teeth punch nozzle. The internationally recognized nozzle outlet aperture is 0.7-0.8mm, while our peers have reduced the aperture to 0.4-0.6mm. The aperture of the water outlet appears to have decreased by about 1-2mm, but the actual amplitude is quite large, with a proportion of about 15% -25%. The consequences of reducing the aperture are serious. Through comparative experiments, Midea * Bi W * PIK (the R&D company of the dental flosser) concluded that reducing the nozzle outlet aperture will seriously harm the gums.

 

About frequency

The lower the frequency of the pulse water, the better. The principle comes from two aspects: (1) Pulse water cleaning works through two forces: flushing force and oscillation force. Non pulse flushing water (direct current water) also has flushing power, but no oscillation power. Only pulsed water has both. The oscillation force is the force of water flow hitting the dirt and causing it to pop out. Pulse water with too fast a frequency is close to straight water, and the oscillation force will weaken. (2) Massage effect. Using a massage hammer as a metaphor is relatively easy to understand, as hitting the body’s empty space with each stroke of the massage hammer can make people feel comfortable; If the massage hammer strikes too frequently, it can actually make people feel uncomfortable, and the same goes for pulse water.

According to research by Midea Bi W PIK (the R&D company of dental impactors), it is not easy to exceed 1500 times per minute.

The frequency is directly proportional to the water pressure, and the higher the water pressure, the faster the frequency. The water pressure is related to the displacement and pressure area of the water pump. The water pump is composed of a pump casing and a piston, and the number of times the piston moves is the frequency of pulsed water. When the cross-sectional area of the piston is the same, the distance of piston movement is long, the displacement is large, the water pressure is high, and the frequency is slow.

 

About Structure

Our waterproof design uses a separate sealing method, which is characterized by sealing the battery, circuit board, and motor in one shell, and separating the water pump system from the above shell. Not only can it prevent external water, but it can also prevent water leakage from the movement of the water pump piston
